Caught Being Healthy

Yay we finally have something that encourages kids to bring nude food and eat healthy!!
In assembly once a week we give out one Caught Being Healthy awards for the Yr 1-4 and one.
In Yr 5-8 they get a certificate and how they get that is 3 monitors go around each couple of days and if you are eating healthy you go into the draw to get a certificate.  If you get picked you get a container to put food in so you can carry nude food!
this is the piece of paper your name goes on to get picked out.

Chess Set

A few years ago we put a request down for a giant chess set, and last term we got one! Mr Andrews and some students from the hub created giant chess pieces out of wood at the beginning of the term, and then towards the school jubilee, some of the hub students painted the chess board. The children enjoy playing with the chest pieces when it's out.

Rubbish Bins

we have put up some new signs on our rubbish bins to help our students know what bins to put their rubbish in so they don't mix up what goes in what bins. Hopefully these signs will help so the bins stay bins and recycling stays recycling.

BABY CHICKENS!!!

We have finally had baby chicks, two currently hatched and one to go! The news is buzzing around school and everyone is super excited about it.
